Following on from last year’s stand-out event at Shandwick square in Easterhouse (see NY to Easterhouse) and as the fulfillment of a personal commitment to return to the shopping centre with a further exhibition of his work, in Dec 2016 Gerard staged an exhibition of his paintings which this year was attending by more than 300 schoolchildren from schools all over Glasgow.

Working in conjunction with the Celtic Foundation the exhibition was aimed specifically at schools, and as a way of enhancing the learning experience for the children Gerard created this series of short films. Although targeted specifically at the pupils who would be coming along to the show (as you’ll see at certain points in the films) there is probably enough here of general interest to warrant including them in this section of the website and opening them up to the public in general.
